Colors of My Thinking

Began this earthly journey with an empty mind,
   then, my gray matter started accepting all kinds of information;
   often me, and my mind have a long conversation,
and when I want to create- my MUSE will do a search and find.

Inside my head the good and bad are entwined,
   sometimes, this girl's thinking has a swirling, whirling sensation;
   and words just come tumbling out in any situation,
and I think- oh, these words of mine are unkind.

I say to self- what a waste of brain power,
   I would like to revamp the burden of my useless thinking;
   when sometimes, my words need a shower.

When I say things stupid or rude I can feel my soul sinking,
   but I have found meditation-   where I drift in nature and flower;
   where only rainbow thoughts I am drinking.

I am in love with your last two lines. The whole piece wholly relatable and beautifully penned. I n/a'd in that one too but really pleased with what I wrote. Thank you for this sip of your rainbow thoughts. Congratulations on your win! xomo <3

Jan thank you. True, I seldom let anger pass my lips. I have learned to live in serenity
