Colors of Me
This is merely an outlet, to banish my thoughts
I have no expectation that my views will be bought
My mind is a realm, built of colorful rooms
Some, bright and vivid, some pastel hues
Many of these rooms have no connections
You may even say, they arise contradictions
They’re not equipped with complimentary shades
And, you, more than likely, weren’t invited to stay
So if you discover, your least favorite color
There’s no need to linger, preach and smother
Just pack up your words and turn off the light
Because this is my realm, I’ll always be right
