Colors Are Everywhere

I am a cartoonist, a painter, a clandescent poet. I paint in neons – pinks, greens, yellows and blues. The background is sometimes done up in purple before I know it. I start with the skin color, making it a variety of hues. Beige might work for others, but I use coppers, silvers and pink. I throw in some oranges every time I do think. For I am an artist, a painter, a poet. Colors are everything, don’t you know it?

I love all vibrant colours and I especially love your fabulous picture Caren. A world without colour is so dismal, so grey, your poems oooooze colour, that is what makes them so special. With kindest thoughts Ann xx

Thank you Ann. I adore color; I have six colors of paint on my hands as I type this today. Orange, green, blue, silver, purple, and yellow.

Therapeutic. We are so fortunate to live in a modern era of easy affordable pigments. Still, some surround themselves in grey and beige. Missing the zing!

I tell you I would not be alive it was not for painting, cartooning and poetry; they are keeping me sane right now as I shelter in place.
