Colors

You've got only one canvas
so, paint your picture big
paint it bright
use bold sweeping motions
like storm clouds
stalking a fathomless ocean.
Don't step back to gain perspective
and make corrections
this will cause hesitancy
your colors will bleed weak.
Just let it fly
paint in the color of honor and honesty
paint it bright.

Paint for yourself, not for others
. Painting for others is like inbreeding...
The subject becomes deformed-impure-lifeless and sleezy.
Paint for yourself, watch miracles unfold.
Paint lost moments with the deepest of grays.
Paint the remaining seconds like golden motions of royalty.
Paint happiness in manic purple and reds.

Toward the end, drag yourself to the edge of the sea.
Now wrap yourself in your masterpiece.
Proudly wear the colors of the final sunrise.
The colors of your unique existence.
The colors of your life.
