Colorful Birds
Green fruits,with red nodes hang
on the big mango tree
Some fruits happily sing and swing,
Suddenly they fly free
Oh No!They are not the fruits
They're the pretty parrots!
The sky is dark again
and it's about to rain
A glimpse of blue skies
crossed my eyes
what's the blue sky hither?
They're the king fishers
Near the turquoise blue river
located the flowering trees.
Scarlet red flowers cover
the whole trees, realities
change swiftly, red becomes white.
White cranes visit in twilight
Amidst the red ixora plants
two purple butterflies.
Powerful mantras, they chant
Look like angels in disguise
When I tried to touch,they scared
They're purple rumped sun birds
Elegant colorful birds in the air,
teach life lessons everywhere
which we often fail to care
