Colorado Winters

Colorado winters are rather nice,

Except for that confounded snow and ice!

      But come the next spring,

         The season will bring,

Balmy weather and sunshine to suffice.

Thank you, nette. Strangely it is July weather here for the past 2 weeks - in the 60/70 degree range and it is sure welcome but I have seen snow around here in Colorado in May - such is Colorado weather! Nice to hear from you - I haven't been writing much lately altho I have some ideas but can't seem to get motivated - ha.

The snow and ice does make it a difference to make things uncomfortable. That is why you stay by a nice warm fire with your wife or a Jack Reacher book to make the time fun... Love the poem Robert. Stay warm... hug Eve

Good day Bob H., how are you? :) Hope you are well. Anyways, I love and find your limerick refreshing. And you better believe you've been on my mind lots this year. LOL. especially since I watch my some Denver Broncos this past Sunday against the Pats. :) I hear Denver and immediately think of you, and wonder how cold it is up there. You answered my question today. I bet you are looking forward to meeting Spring again. Even though Colorado winter might be nice. Nice to be inside. LOL. Love LINDA

Thank you Linda for your kind comments. Had about 6 inches of snow last Sat - brrrrrr! I think the Broncs shot their wad Sunday and it looks bleak for the playoffs. Your Cowpokes are doing very well this year and I expect to see them in the Super-duper bowl! Great to hear from you again and Merry Christmas - bob h
