Color of Fur

She doesn't see his fangs, Nor he her claws, He loves her swishy tail, She loves his furry paws, He loves it when she walks on tip toes, She loves it when he nuzzles with his nose. Society says this can’t be, A love between a cat and dog you see, But Cat and Dog don't see the color of fur, For she loves him and he loves her. Her family doesn't like him, She loves his courage, His family doesn't like her, He loves her courage, Their love is strong and will last, Over this bigotry of the past. No matter what the color of their fur, She loves him and he loves her.
