Color

What is color
A useless word
color can not speak
color can not walk
color can not judge
so why judge me for the color of my skin
and not my action
we all bleed the same
when we die we all get bury the same
because I am lighter or darker then you
taller or shorter then you
Have hair or dont
Do not mean I am different from you
our heartbeats are the same
The world see color
but i don't
Because I am color blind
I will not judge you for the color of your skin
but for your action
many seems to forget
that we are all born from a mother and a father
rich or poor
we are no different
light or dark
tall or short
my color do not define who I am
So don't let the world tell you anything different
Give me a chance to show you
do not judge me for the color of my skin
remember color
don't walk
color don't speak
we do
I am color blind
and I am fine with that
because our bloods still runs red
our hearts beats the same
so what is color
just a useless word to define who we really are

Get used to it! If it wasn't the colour of your skin, it would be the colour of your eyes - or hair, or whether your hair was straight or curly, or where you came from, or who your parents were or were not, what school you attended, the clothes you wear ad infinitum! Some folks are just picky, picky, picky! Aloha! Rico
