Collaboration
collaboration
work with sun, moon
earth, the good long days
peel, pull seeds
hum quietly
a nameless melody
drawn through half forgotten
memories
as is this recipe.
cinnamon red, sharp
nutmeg brown, sultry
sugar white
as snows to come
eggs golden globes
milk splashing
creamy sounds.
day light slants
across the table
it warms my hands
as they shape dough
for pumpkin pie.
