Coldplay

I welcome the cold
Like music to my ears
Snow falling everywhere
Wiping off my tears

Treetops turn from green to white
Smiling down at me
Swaying to and fro
Longing to be free.

I hold you close all bundled up
Candles lit all over
Summer still trying hard
To heat the growing clovers

Time stands still outside and yet
The clock ticks on and on
The days roll by so slow
It seems I savor every song.

No Speed of Sound
No reason to look around
No reason to sleep
No reason to cry
No reason to leave the house
For why?

No reason to answer the phone
No reason to eat
No reason to run
You are my feast.

No reason to move
Because you move me

Oh, this is a very nice read!! I always glorify summer, but it's nice to see someone think of a way to do it for winter. Andrea
