ha ha hat i bet the cat would turn its nose up at it after a while. We always have beef as none of us like turkey:-) hugs jan xx

My family gets tired of eating it too so we have been buying smaller turkeys lately; I just eat the stuffing because I'm a veggie…Realistically witty senryu Jan!~Che :)

I got our joint some months ago as I was expecting mum to join us but she decided to stay and eat in the care home which was a blessing as we are all fighting colds in fact I have only just seen her after 6 days. Hope you had a lovely Christmas and new year:-) hugs jan xx

A dislike of the bird lol that's something else we share Andrea I never eat the stuff but still have beef left over from Christmas day:-) hugs jan xx

nice one, jan! i can relate to this and have no problem with leftovers for as long as it takes to finish them...

I make 'bubble and squeak' with the left over roasties and sprouts Christmas is the only time I get to make it and it reminds me of childhood Christmases as mum always used to make it on boxing day with cold meat:-) hugs jan xx

Is that old turkey? Away and Closet Will Stay Had to put Christmas things away, With so much sadness and dismay; My each stocking; Memory blocking; Until next year in closet shall stay. Jim Horn

Jan, if I was your guest, you wouldn't have leftover. I eat too much and take extra leftover for the night snacks and the next day meal... Lol! Good one and you're making me hungry now :) hugs and smiles :)

I will still be eating beef butties for at least one more day but i just love cold beef and mustard so i am a happy bunny:-) hugs jan xx

We just finished our Thanksgiving turkey as well, so we didn't opt for it for Christmas. We ate steak at the chop place (Steak house) yesterday. Good stuff. I'm more beef, but Judy love turkeys. (That's how I got my foot in the door!!)............great write.....xx....pat

It were huge, just huge, so very huge - this made me laugh, we just finished our turkey sandwiches from Thanksgiving not that long ago, or so it seems. Most cute, Jan. All the best ... CayCay

LOL CayCay I'm so glad you can relate lol. I still have enough beef left to last until Friday but I've loved cold beef ever since i was really tiny in fact mum and I were talking about it today and the this little piggy rhyme and I used to say roast bif and that always makes us giggle:-) hugs jan xx

We always have a big joint of roast beef and are still having cold beef sandwiches 4 days on lol I am sure other folks have left over turkey too!:-) hugs jan xx
