The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Cold Spirit

Faithless dreams in this game
The one I want to witness my pain
Closer now, I won’t her let go
Her arms around the ghost in the snow

Silence for this angel of fear
Patience for the hate in her tears
And now a word, such comfort from me
That she is mine and I’ll set her free

Haunting all that she needs
Reminding her that everything bleeds
The rotting cores: reflections of self
The frozen lake is all she has left

Faithless dreams in this game
The ones we need to witness this pain
Closer still, I need her to know
That if I leave she will turn to stone

This ghost a prayer for someone to see
The snow is cold, and it’s all I can be
And now a word from denial’s regret
Just wrap up warm before we connect
