Cold Over Warmth

Midnight in the winter
and morning in the spring
solitude feels like a touch of warm sunlight
meanwhile friendships with others feel like frostbite
better to be alone than to be hugged by fleeting love
the cold is a better warmth than another person's hand
isolation brings peace, bonds cause problems
friendships with other people must be no more
so stop seeking love and warmth
lest you lose your happiness
because trust in oneself lets one fly higher and longer
than one who loves and depends on others
