Cold Nights Tableau

I wake to the smell 
of homebrewed coffee
and fresh toasted bread.
Then, her missing scent
suddenly strikes home…
The recurring dream.

Good Morning Paul. Hi. I turned to this entry at random do to the title because it is cold everywhere. Contest aside because your entry stands on its own but congratulations of a marvelous placement.
