Notes About The Poem

Perhaps someday peace will come. ~

Cold Minneapolis

The wintry pall of cold Minneapolis,
two thirty-seven year olds,
shots thundered into an unexpected
eternity,
but youth promised to age,
to go on to another day.

A bleeding sacrifice,
suddenly the wintry pall of
cold Minneapolis,
became searingly bitter,
became unmercifully more frozen.
Sing of the lost peace,
in the candlelight and flowers
on the streets. ~

an almost impossible situation in Minneapolis. I fear anarchy is on the rise.

Hi Sara, thank you for coming by and taking the time to read and comment on my poem. I’ve been praying about our nation’s unrest this morning. Blessings to you and Bill.

Just for the sake of some truth on this web site: Anarchy is on the left, Regina. The ICE-Watchers and their funders are training people ! to aggressively obstruct ICE from doing its job... as well as they can in a sanctuary state where the state and city are complicit in violating the law and the constitution. In this chaotic environment, killing was inevitable. ... btw: Courts have upheld the right of the Feds to deport illegals time and time and time again. ~ gw
