Cold In the Soul

Cold In The Soul

I feel cold in my soul - for frozen has been my heart.
Just for a misunderstanding that has caused me great 
pain and kepted us apart.

My heart has been wounded and my eyes have cried of 
sadness and pain. What was it that I did, that I do not
understand?

Dear God up in heaven help me - please take this cold of 
my soul and give warmth to my heart. This cold that I feel
I can not avoid it.

Please give peace to my soul and melt the ice from my heart.
Come quick and help me and let me feel your love.

The cold that we feel in our bodies - that we can overcome.
But the cold we feel in our souls - that's the one that can
make us cry and tear us apart.

It is true and it has been written, that whoever is without
sin, to cast the first stone. Is it you that feels cold in the
soul, or is it me?

Maybe it's you and maybe it's I. Let's give one step forward
so we can make peace. Do you want to start, or do you want
me to go first? 

The important thing is that we start and end this cold that we
have in our souls, so that we can have peace once again....
