Cold Hearts
Cold,
When we are grief is untold
When we are helpless and hopeless
When we are all wandering with no direction
When all hope is lost amidst insurgence.
Cold,
When the girl child is raped, molested and battered with no justice.
When innocent babies are aborted in birth places and thrown in sacred places.
When the boy child is put under immoral subjection and barbaric act.
Cold,
When life's experiences makes us lose our balances.
When justices seems like a crisis
When innocent lives are murdered and butchered like animals.
Cold,
When the remembrance of the lost seems like a trauma we can't recover from.
When their stories can only be told within our hearts and not foretold.
Cold,
When we are scold,blindfold and sold together with our household.
When our raised placards can't save us.
When our cries is no longer heard and sounds like an helpless widow.
Cold,
When fraudulent practices has become an habit of those in governance.
When our rights as a citizen is overruled even as a franchise.
When we bark like a toothless dog.
Give us a heart of flesh oh God! ??????
