Cold Hearted

I should be cold hearted with everything I've been through 
But I still give my all to you
I should hate everyone and everything but I'm still full of love
I should be cold hearted with everything I've been through 

Rest in peace to my loved ones who are under ground
I've got People alive who are dead to me who no longer come around 
I'm not sure which is worse
Passing by ghosts or seeing my loved ones in a hearse

It's Hard to keep your heart alive when you've seen many attempts at love die
How many times can Prince charming get his heart crushed before he stops being the good guy? 
I gave my all to you and somehow it's still not enough
You stabbed me in the back and shot the trust

Why did I fall in love with a.. I don't need to Resort to name calling
I'm just trying to stay up but the Pain's falling 
I'll get over her but it'll take some time
I need to keep my thoughts off her otherwise it'll break my mind

I finally got the strength to walk away from what broke me
Fighting wars daily in hopes one day I can Hold peace 
If I'm to be compared it's only to the old me
The only way to beat depression is to find your own release

I should be cold hearted with everything I've been through
But I still give my all to you

I love this, I can relate to it... we are only humans as they would say! we stumble and fall it could be countless times but we always pick ourselves up and move on.. Beautifully expressed my friend!
