Cold End

Through the agony and pain We look out at the rain Letting it fall and hit our face As life as we know it is a big disgrace Crying in thou bed with tears falling Out of the bed and onto the floor I’m like a little toddler because all I am doing is crawling Searching for something to grasp and to hold Cause thou floor is very cold Cold as the winter’s breeze Cold as the snow approaches thou face Cold as my heart as life is fading away Color blind I am getting as the world starts to turn gray Not moving as if I was a corpse that was there just to lay Hearing the rain as it hits the window I take a deep breath and blow I can see the frost coming out my mouth from my soul Looks as if my life has paid its last toll Eyes beginning to close The radio turns on with the instrumentals So as I lay there I begin to compose Hands going up and down Left and right That’s all I have left in me I can no longer fight Crashing to the cold hard floor my hands go The blood in my body can no longer flow Now being one with the floor I and it mend This is real life I can no longer pretend It’s to cold and on the floor I am penned Its now over body still eyes closed The story itself has a cold end (c) Jeremy Fennell
