Cold Chill

There’s a cold chill in the air
I sure miss you being near
A warm hug holding me close
On those chilly nights I need a dose
Of your love and touch and all else
Forgive me darling I know I fell
He meant nothing you must know
A passing fancy on the go
Can’t take it back or erase the past
Cold chill in the air is moving fast
I lie here lonely in this cold bed
Wishing to change the thoughts in your head
There’s a cold chill in the air
I sure miss you being here
