Cold
Cold hangs,
Like a smug heavy curtain,
The sun struggles to lift it,
The effort of people to beat it,
Invisible power of cold,
On feet,
On noses,
On hands,
Tingling,
Unrecoverable,
Nuisance,
Passing through people like ghosts,
Leaving shivers of chill
