Coin
this life is but a coin
two sides - the one that shines and the one that gleams
So which side do we choose to achieve our dreams
All that glitters as they say - can take our plan tragically astray
the shine seems so balanced with no glare in the way
yet it all seems so boring - such a typical way
ah but the gleaming gets us dreaming of a sure thing
so we launch ourselves full into the trip with a fling
throw caution to the wind and what do we gain
the everlasting lesson of significant pain
flipping the coin might clear up the issue
but a path poorly followed will bring on the tissue
so I say to you now - carefully make your choice
then go off and sing in your very best voice
when you choose well things will work out
if you chose poorly there will be no doubt
