Coffee, Stairs, and Stars

I wipe off spilled coffee from my arm on my sheets As I wish I wasn't home Or at least not alone Because as much as I love the dark and flatsound Right now I just want to hold someone close Earlier I went on a walk And looked for stairs to sit on Looked at people passing by And wished for nighttime Because let's be honest Blackness with stars Is so much more beautiful Than blue skies and clouds
