Coffee Science

Coffee Science Wild storm crashed my boat Succumbing to the unforgiving rocks In a sad deposit on a primal savage shore Remote and desolate are words that come to mind My Keurig and I alone survived the humble wreckage A couple K cups floated up Lapped upon the salted waves There to be found and saved There is one small issue on this island to submit The science of electricity was yet to be invented Nor outlets to help the Keurig brew If I don’t have my coffee There is nothing left to do The coffee maker will have to be returned From what I can surmise And what there is, to be discerned and seen There is no receipt Like us, it too is lost I guess we’ll have to wait For a boat or foreign science with electric to come our way Before we take our coffee break
