Coffee House
The strength you have to lift me
Is beyond compare
Others have tried and failed
To them it is not fair,
Even your aroma should be bottled up and sold
The vigour of you halts that depressing feeling of growing old.
You tempt me with you wiles you dance around my senses
Nobody can raise me up like you - I drop all of my defences.
To be enfolded in your tendrils that rise in the steam
Lifts my soul and spirits to the heights they’ve never been...
One sniff and I am yours, I gladly dive right in
That first cup of strong black liquid tempts me to new sin
Not just once do I partake but two or may be three
Oh dark tempter of delights, I love you my coff - ee
