Word: Coffee

You
are like
a cup of
morning coffee.
You give energy,
and you’re sweet and bitter,
giving me a perfect mix.
When I touch you, you’re always warm,
and your essence is what gets me out
of bed even on the darkest mornings.
Even if you change a little, I’ll
love you through any form you choose.
Cold, iced, cappuccino, hot,
espresso, with milk and
sugar, I love you.
When I wake up,
please greet me
with a
kiss.
