Coagulation
Finally my blood began to coagulate;
crimson hues slow dance
to the musical notes of healing,
and the symphony scores a pattern,
weaving the fabic of fibrin
into a tapestry like a warrior's
victory blanket.
Blood again flows like a river
finding its course unhindered,
and I rise and live on;
scars on my body a reminder
of the battle fought and won,
every heartbeat a testament
to where I belong.
