Cloudy Days Doesn'T Mean There Is No Sun

Lord you know all things
There is not even one word on my tongue
Or in my heart that you a haven’t heard
Before I have even uttered them
I am full of awe of you- Selah

Even in my down times when I feel unwell
You are here with me
Your presence is everywhere
Even if I aren’t sensitive to know this at the time

But you give me little reminders
That all life is precious to you
Like when I receive a kiss from a friend
Or a kind word from a stranger

Yes- you are always vigilant to remind us of your care
For I am more valuable than even a precious Sparrow
Therefore;
My heart shall rest in Hope and Your faithfulness - till my change shall come.

Hope you do not mind the time I am taking to express my sincere appreciation for any support you have offered during the years, or time you have been here on the soup. I am deeply thankful and extend to you my best wishes for a happy and healthy Poetic Magical Thanksgiving Day. *Always & Forever, the Poet Destroyer; -*

Brenda, I have been quite depressed lately and I can feel an uplifting message throughout this poem. We don't need to see God to have faith and when he sends us "little reminders (flowers, kind words from people)" these are the moments we cherish most in life. You have a very clear way of expressing yourself and I will add this poem to my favorites. Thanks for stopping by, Brenda. Love, Carolyn

dear Carolyn I am pleased you found some positive and uplifting words in this poem our Father is so good at uplifting us in our down times. Down times I think help us reach up and out to look to His strength- for only He can truly sustain us and know us. Much blessings dear sister I pray your trial of whatever it is, will not be too long and through it, it will only make you stronger and deeper in Him, Blessings, Brenda Ox.
