Notes About The Poem

Clouds roll in

sweep away the clutter
let the tide recede
wash away the grime
bare my soul, my mind
cleanse and start anew

let the winds reset
what's unwittingly askew
bird songs will return
with each rising sun

we must not despair
even when things seem
at an all time low and
never never must we think
of giving up on hope

Truly lovely written, Line. Images perfectly captured, methinks... btw: Send some rain clouds 'down south' here to Chicago, won't you?! Haven't seen any for two weeks now!
