Clouds In Sight

It's really, quite amazing
What the human mind can perceive.
After all, refusing to
    See what they believe.

Like a shroud that blankets
    The incoming light.
Giving direction to the darkness,
    And leading the fight.

When doubt can be seeded,
Into the fabric that's been sewn.
The seam is ripped and torn,
Leaving threads down to the bone.

This battle rages on, as it
    Divides the common plan.
While power and control promise
Unity, for the mind of man.
