Clouds Hanging Over Me

Clouds Hanging Over Me

dark clouds, ominous
feelings of dread swamping
me with foreboding
unable to get my breath
anxiety leading to yet another
panic attack to
disarm me
detach me from myself
alone and afraid I am
losing my mind
certain it has happened in
the past
confident no one notices
that there are clouds of
madness hanging over me

Thanks for sharing this. May I share with you God's love, expressed in John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." God bless you.

Sorry I never met you before today. I hope you are ok. I just now noticed you were the last person to ever respond to Matt Anish. If you are still out there, please can you tell me anything about Matt's last days? I am making a blog for him, and like you, I feel bad that he did not let me know he was sick. I saw your comment to him that you wish you had known. How horrible a year this has been. Your poem makes me fear the worst for you. It is so emotive!
