Clouded Answers
Seeing a cloud float from child eyes and the recognition
The light up moment of clarity smiling wide the definition
Proud parent on graduation day notices too much ambition
Listening to that little voice that haunts you with suspicion
As an adult comes realization that life is not an exhibition
Looking up now and that old cloud is still just passing by
The light up moment of clarity smiling wide the definition
In search of mindful answers to basic questions like why
What answers are so in need to gain one life perfection
Open up your eyes and see they point in the right direction
You have to want to stop suffering take a moment of reflection
Use your mind to problem solve answering the needed correction
Instead of staring at clouds seeking some childhood protection
Although a meaningful memory it is not the cloud seen now
Open up your eyes and see they point in the right direction
No need in asking memory clouds questions of life anyhow
All tools needed to succeed in life are right there inside yourself
