Cloud Burst Overhead

I want to get my feet wet
I want to bury my hands for years
I never meant to see beyond
I am bound to travel back to the unknown

I want to leave here, never to return
Hang on, I never meant to get this deep
Headlong into the cloud burst overhead
I want to watch the rain form over my skyline.
See the droplets travel down the glass for years
Hang on! There is no way of escaping it

Into the clouds overhead, feel my soul burst.

I want to get my feet wet,
feeling it…
I want to bury my hands for years,
digging the earth.
I never meant to see beyond,
my years…
I am bound to travel back,
not knowing it…
I want to leave here,
never to return.

Into a cloud burst overhead…
I want to get my face wet
I want to bury my feet in the sand!
I never meant to see beyond, my years!
I am bound to travel into the unknown

Leaving this reality…
                       in a cloud burst overhead!
