Clothe me in silence if I am the dream you lose
Clothe me in silence if I am the dream you lose,
Catch me in the endless flight like the silk bird that fades into infinity.
Offer me to the whole world, on the innocent child's forehead,
But keep my soul in memory, when my body will no longer be here.
Love me with the fire that burns in your heart and hold me tight in your arms,
Throw me with longing into hearts born from flames that never extinguish.
And gently soothe my pain, the pain that weighs on me, the pain that accompanies me,
From the heart that silently sighs when you are not home, and you are far away.
Wake me at dawn, in the sun's rays that warm the earth,
With your sweet whispers, like a gentle breeze that caresses the body.
And do not let the past that has marked us fall upon us,
Nothing from what was, from what saddened us, and made us cry.
Extract from each moment, the essence of love that unites us,
Give me the thrill of longing from our first meeting, that still makes me tremble.
Sacrifice and cut from my heart the beat that keeps me alive,
With your divine voice now send the storm that makes me feel.
To wash and quench my soul with the nectar that gives me life,
Of your pure love, removing the bitterness that makes me suffer.
Clothe me if I am, desire or sin that gnaws at me,
And let me come if I am unforgettable, and I fill your heart.
