Closer to Fine

You'll never be just anyone
You meant alot to me
But now that you have flown away
Your nest sits here empty

The full reports, the temperature
What should I wear today?
All the little things we had
Meant more than I can say

I'll surely miss the book club
A club can't have just one
Connections, crosswords, by myself?
That's really not much fun

I hope we'll still have music
We do that good, we do
Yet out of all the things I'll miss
What I'll miss most is you

It's just the getting used to
That's gonna take some time
But in the end I'll be okay
And all will be just fine
