Closer

We cling to things, weighing ourselves down with them, defining ourselves with them, and forgetting that our essential selves are not bound by history, experience, or our emotional responses to them. Releasing these attachments, we float like a balloon, rising ever closer to the divine.

This is beautifully done, Sander, it's true that releasing something can give us the impression of weightlessness.(I think I needed to be reminded of this) Sometimes though, it feels like "Groundhog Day", when nothing is said nor done, we repeatedly relive it from various sources? Seems as though each time I start to float up, I'm hit by another dart. :) Best to you...God bless you and yours...Mikki
