Closeness

When quietness is all about
And scarce I hear a sound
I find you in the silence
I feel your love around.

When burdens bow my shoulders
'Til all is weariness
You beckon me with open arms
To come with you and rest.

Life disappoints and takes my soul
To depths of misery
My hands reach out to where you are
And you come and comfort me.

When music fills the atmosphere
With great triumphant sound
My heart is filled with rhapsody
I feel you all around.
