Close the Freezer Door
The Fairies are complaining
about it being too cold outside,
they try to keep themselves warm
by trying to find somewhere to hide.
They start tapping on my door
wanting to come in from the cold,
I trip and fall getting to them
days like this, I feel rather old.
One saw me land on the floor
lets out an extremely loud laugh,
I think I'll leave him outside
what he did was rather daft.
"Close the freezer door," they said
as I quickly ushered them inside,
"I can't stop Mother Nature," I explained
"I too, wish I can hide."
"It feels so warm in here."
One of the Fairies had said,
the fire burned away in the fireplace
I went upstairs to get ready for bed.
The Fairy that had laughed at me
tapped away on the outside of the door,
"Please, let me in. I'm cold.
What did you do that for?"
"You have to be nice to me little Fairy
I've let you in from the cold,
I like when you Fairies come around
you make me feel young, instead of feeling old."

I was going a different way with this, but changed it back into my original idea.
