Close My Eyes
I'm twisting and turning,
In my bed sheets,
Even when I'm with you,
Lying beside you.
I'm closing my eyes.
I'm trying to sleep,
But I can't.
I'm too awake,
And I have thoughts in my head,
That keep me from my dream land.
I want to sleep,
I want to rest,
And sleep in your arms.
Forever...
Help me, Sandman,
Cast your spell on me.
Take me to my happy place.
Help me close my eyes...
