I want you close
Close enough to feel your heart beating
I yearn for your body next to mine
To feel the tickle of your breathe against my neck
Your rough hands kindly brushing my hair in the wake of my ear
I want you close
For you to draw me in and release your sinister secrets into my heart
So that when your eyes swell my shoulder is yours to cry upon
To ease your discomfort and calm your fears
I need you close
