Climbing the Mountain
Far easier to slide down
Than crawl up
But if you do
The scenery is breathtaking
And the image
Will be with you forever
We mourn our losses
And carry them on our back
Making it ever harder
To climb to the heights
The strength of love
Directed at us
Enables us to
Defy the pull of gravity
The more you give,
The more you get
End the year
With a small deed
Of love
