Climate Change

Climate Change (My Calipus form)
[a-b-c-b   d-b-d   1st stanza 7 syls / line; 2nd stanza 8 syls / line] 
---------------------------------

We talk of global warming
Nature turning on the heat
The earth is cracked and blistered
Our mistakes hard to delete.

A potato hot to handle!
The Messiah we need entreat.
For a start let’s turn to Handel!

Then comes global flooding, In symmetry it will meet. The earth is wet and soggy, It’s too late for our retreat. Just playing with you and loved the pun handle. We cannot delete our mistakes Paul but hopefully we can learn from them and change the situation for the better. Global Warming is a major problem. I love the content of this serious write my friend. The last two lines say it all for me. One day we may have to entreat the Messiah to save things, even that may be done too late. I do like the form my friend. This work is creative and real.
