Cliches

“Forever and a day” is surely a cliché
It flows so trippingly, by the way,
The older I get the more I realize
Not many phrases left to utilize.

Whether we label it a 'cliché' or a da je vous moment, sometimes it does seem like a recurring script or scene. Cliche's are here to stay and they are the best expressions in any given circumstance. I like this rhyming verse, Milt.

Thanks, Jenna. I have such a problem with cliches, so I appreciate your understanding and your thoughts.
