Clever Dicks

Life is a learning process
         Each day a useful test
    But some people, you’ll agree
They are born with a degree
             Of self delusion
They’re the ones who know it best.

Good one..I think those that have those delusions believe their own lies though or are in so much denial that they could not recognize the truth set before them..Thanks for the visit to my page..Paul as a child, I really did not like getting dirty or sweaty..My mother made me go out and play in the dirt..I just wrote that as an example..However, the older generation believed that a little dirt and hard work never hurt anyone.Sara

Hi Sara! My mother did not like us getting dirty (or dirtying the house) but she still gave us free rein on condition that at the end of day we cleaned and tidied up! Of course, playing in fields and running barefooted in the rain was very common in our time. Funny thing is we hardly ever got sick! ~ Thank you for liking and commenting on this my first Grook. Hi Paul, i wish you well in the contest. This form is a little too difficult for me i think. As always your words ring true Paul. I am sure that you have knocked the nail right on the head Paul. Now i have written this Paul, you know who to blame if everything goes pear-shaped in the contest. Your Friend....MIKE.

You are ever generous, Mike:) In fact you must have hit that nail exact, since the contest has been judged and this Grook ended on the winners' list; a real satisfaction. Hope you are keeping well my friend. ~ Regards // paul
