I know 150 to 200 years ago, age 50 was considered a long time to live. yet we see so many pictures of men living into old age (such as George Washington) I guess poverty was one of the factors of death. and of course lack of knowledge as we have today. I never knew of John Constable until now!

TB was a norm for several generations or longer. So many people got it and died but now there is treatment but there are drug resist kind out there now. So sad for someone so young to die. I will have to look up his work. Thanks for the visit to my page. Your comments always inspire. Sara
