Clear Sailing

New thoughts flit in and out
  that deserve a kinder fate
If they'd only meet resistance
  Perhaps they would gestate

Nice little gem. Reminds me of the creative process. How frustrating it can be when thoughts and words vanish in a moment of distraction. As Eliot said: Distracted from distraction by distraction.

Just gotta give the helmsman some Hellsman's (Mayonnaise). Then he'll guide the ship to a smooth, creamy ride. Oy, back to the drawing board tonight! :)

I am ready for new thoughts. I said to my husband let's not have a president any more. That was thought up by slave owners who also thought up the abominable Electoral College. Let's abolish both and have a committee.

How about a robot for President?! I've been in favor of that for a while. Feed it the data, and let it figure things out. Watch how quickly those who say they 'trust in science' would be SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER! lol. Anyway, here's to new thoughts. :)

Very interesting. I get the uneasy feeling that some of those thoughts I should've kept. :0

Well, you can always wait for the same thought or another to just 'flit in' again... Then you can 'fit it in, Evelyn!' Smiles, Gershon

That's my word for the week -- flit! Rhyme with sh**, but much fluffier! ~ Electioned-out (Not really. The whole circus didn't affect me one iota).
