Cleanse Me Oh Lord

With you redeeming blood o Lord
Cleanse me this hour
Sprinkle all over me your blood
Let me feel its redeeming power.

I'm now a repentant child
My being has become synonymous with sin
I want to feel your redeeming power so mild
I need to become clean.

I've dined enough with the devil
I want to be with you from season to season
They say your redeeming blood is a marvel
Can I ever be forgiven?

Look down upon me compassionately
Sanctify my being
Touch me o Lord reassuringly
So I'll be worthy of entering heaven.
