Claustrophobic Creatures

sometimes i forget there are masks to be worn paper bracelets that need to wind ‘round my wrist i forget who can blame me when i see a child’s face or yours the normal kicks in and i remember the joy of your smile and hug i resist it’s an internal wish for things to go back in their proper place i want to drive and stop anywhere i choose not stopping to tie a sack around my features we are claustrophobic creatures one day my eyes might open blink… blink… and this was all a strange and elaborate hoax the sunlight coaxes me outside i spin… what a wonderful world we live in okay i’ll stop talking and put on my face coat my paper bracelet my straight jacket 1/8/2021

So annoying, these face masks. Sometimes I use a visor, but masks are safer. ~~

- What's "my paper bracelet", Kim? - We use masks, but no bracelets - I enjoy nature without a mask ... have to breathe when I go on my daily walk :) - hugs // Anne-Lise :)

When I go to work each day, after they check my temperature and ask me covid questions, they hand me a paper bracelet to wear, to show I have been screened.
