Claudine's Virtue
Claudine knows that her virtue
is too rare and priceless;
envious eyes avoid her...
they fear the wisdom she possesses.
What God gives some chosen individuals
is both grace and humbleness;
we can tell how true they are
when they speak and glow with honesty.
If status, gender, race and color were a dilemma:
would God allow His purpose to fail?
No, all are equal and deserve a chance
at being all they can be and carry on the legacy.
A beauty that remains pure
such as Claudine's must be admired;
she never went to an extent
to add that extra touch of flawlessness.
A person that seeks perfection is
after vanity and self-glorification...
so voracious to grasp all by not
letting that flower of purity bloom inside.
