Class Ring

-Class ring- Close by the door She paused to stand As she took her Class ring from her hand All who were Watching could not speak As a single tear ran down her cheek Memories of the moments Where the laughed together under the sun His deep green eyes Have grown cold She can no longer Have him in her arms to hold She whispered “I love you “ As she bent near Her words so soft None could hear And on his finger She placed her ring Hoping forgiveness it would bring She said goodbye and gave him a kiss. This special guy she knew She’d miss The doors closed Her head hung low As they carried his Casket through the snow ~JAZ~
